Report: Trevor Ariza traded to Miami Heat

The Oklahoma City Thunder are sending Trevor Ariza to the Miami Heat, according to multiple reports.

Ariza became a member of the Thunder organization in a trade this past offseason, but has been away from the team all season.

The Thunder will receive a 2027 second round pick from Miami in the deal. Meyers Leonard is also being included in the deal in order to make the salaries work.

Leonard is expected to be traded or released before arriving in Oklahoma City. He’s been suspended from the Heat organization for the last week for using an anti-semitic slur on a Twitch stream.

Oklahoma City now has four 2027 second-round picks.

The trade deadline is on March 25.
