Thunder almost don't blow out Hawks

Oklahoma City (3-0) took a little longer than normal to pull away from Atlanta (2-1) tonight, but they made up for it once they did. The Thunder were up 89-86 to close the third, then scorched the Hawks 39-18 to close the game. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (35 pts, 11 rbs, 9 ast, 6 stocks) was his lethal self all game long, and Chet Holmgren (25/9/4/7) was everywhere in the definitive stretch of the game, finding the ball and finishing possessions on both ends of the floor. Chet also found his stroke, going 3-5 from deep. Holmgren is playing above his peak last year. If this holds up, the joint addition of Alex Caruso and Isaiah Hartenstein will not actually be the biggest upgrades to the roster this season.
