Thunder beat Sixers' second-string

OKC 118 PHI 102

The Oklahoma City Thunder (33-6) played poorly by their standards despite a big final margin of victory, letting the few Philadelphia 76ers (15-23) who suited up for the game flirt with a late comeback. There was no Embiid, Maxey, or PG, but Jeff Dowtin, Jr. and company chewed a 19-point third quarter OKC lead down to 4 in the final frame. SGA and the starters were necessary to close out the win, rather than resting up a bit in a real blowout. Ugly 16-point wins are a thing now, I guess.

Next up: A much, much more exciting game. The Cavs rematch is at home on Thursday. Stay tuned.
