Thunder draft Dillon Jones in trade with Knicks
After drafting Nikola Topic earlier in the lottery, Oklahoma City traded for another first rounder, sending five second round picks to New York for the opportunity to grab Dillon Jones at #26. The 6'6 is yet another tall playmaker drafted into the Thunder ranks, a 22-year-old projected as a role player after starring as a "down-to-earth" heliocentric stat-stuffer, as No Ceilings put it, for three years at Weber State.
OKC sent the Knicks five future second rounders as the latter began restocking its cupboards after sending away five firsts earlier today to acquire Mikal Bridges from the Nets. The Thunder do not own any second round picks ahead of the draft's continuation tomorrow.
