Darius Bazley: D

If you have read any of my other pieces, you may have noticed that I am not the biggest Darius Bazley fan. So far this season, he has not shown enough to convince me he should be on the team next season. In fairness, he has been a nice positive on the defensive end averaging over a block a game, but three years into his career there just isn’t anything he does well on the offensive end. He’s a complete black hole.

Shooting 37.6% from the field, 28.3% from three with a 45.7% true shooting, his presence as a scorer is almost non-existent. The only thing on offense he does at an NBA level is cutting off-ball but even then, he much prefers to spot up as a ‘stretch four’ when he clearly isn’t suited to that role.
