ESPN preview
Tip-off:
3:00 PM @ AdventHealth Arena, ? TNT
Projected starting lineups:
Oklahoma City | Houston |
PG: Chris Paul | PG: James Harden |
SG: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander | SG: Eric Gordon |
SF: Lu Dort | SF: Jeff Green |
PF: Danilo Gallinari | PF: P.J. Tucker |
C: Steven Adams | C: Robert Covington |
3 Big Things:
- Small Ball: We saw a small sample size of how effective a lineup can of our three guard trio plus Dort and Danilo Gallinari can be in the conclusion of Game 3. The questions are a plenty. Do we go back to it? If so, how long? What variations can we use with that? I would like to see Darius Bazley get some run there as well; I think the Thunder have something with that lineup.
- El Tres Amigos: Chris Paul, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Dennis Schröder all had big games Saturday night. It’s pretty obvious at this point that we need them to play at a high level if we want a chance to win, so the question is how many of them continue to step up? (All would be great.)
- Shot for Shot: No, I don’t want Lu Dort shooting as much as James Harden. Don’t match Harden’s minutes with Dort on the court to defend him, match his seconds. Anytime Harden’s sneakers touch the hardwood in Orlando, I don’t want Dort’s to be far behind.
