Thunder vs. Bulls: Three things to care about
Not only are the Thunder on TV tonight, but they’re on national TV. And even better news: Kevin Durant’s expected to play.
The Thunder take on the Bulls in Wichita in what’s OKC’s last preseason game. The last chance to work out a few issues, to get the offense running right and maybe even get an idea of what kind of rotations are going to work.
(The clip: Russ to KD from halfcourt against the Bulls in 2012. Fun game.)
Three things to care about:
1. Rotations? With this being the last preseason game, will Scott Brooks treat it as somewhat of a dress rehearsal? Not entirely as Thabo Sefolosha isn’t expected to play, so the starting lineup will be different. Still, I’m interested to watch the sub patterns just to see if there’s anything to read into. Because I love reading into things.
2. Steven Adams. It’s the same thing its been the previous games, but now I’m just more and more eager to watch him because it’s been so good. No Joakim Noah, which is a shame because it would’ve been nice to see Adams battle him, but still, the Bulls have some decent interior players for Adams to gauge himself against.
3. Derrick Rose. I’m excited to watch him play again.
