After completing an impressive 6-0 stand, the Thunder kick off a little road jaunt with three against the Kings, Blazers and Pelicans, before returning home to take on the mighty Pacers. It’s a stretch of five of six away from home, and while one might expect five of six wins, it won’t be a successful stretch unless you take care of the ones against teams like the Kings.
It’s not that the Kings are bad, though. They have just lost a lot of games. They have some talent, but like past Kings teams, it’s a bit erratic and discombobulated. But they can pull it together at any moment and show flashes of being a serviceable Western Conference team.

Three Big Things
1. Boogie. Gotta slow down DeMarcus Cousins. He can be a near unstoppable force at times, so Kendrick Perkins, Steven Adams, Serge Ibaka, Nick Collison and company have their hands full.
2. Don’t do stupid. I had a ninth grade match teacher that had one rule: Don’t do stupid. And that should really be a Thunder motto. Don’t lapse defensively, don’t get loose with the ball, don’t pick up bad fouls, don’t make bad decisions — just play smart and your talent should be enough.
3. Opening tip. It’s important, alright!
Tip at 9:00 CT. Go Road Game.
