Thunder waive DeAndre Liggins

The Thunder have waived guard DeAndre Liggins, the team announced late Friday.

Liggins was arrested last weekend on a domestic abuse complaint. Liggins was charged Friday with assaulting his girlfriend in front of their two-year-old son.

Via his Instagram, Liggins released a statement: “Just want to thank the Oklahoma City Thunder organization for everything. One of the classiest organizations in the league.”

Liggins, 25, appeared in 39 games for the Thunder last season.
