Here’s a new Nike spot that features a pickup game with guys getting all sorts of nicknames from the emcee, while Kevin Durant just gets… Kevin. Kevin Kevin Durant. Or Kevin “Nickname” Durant, which seems to be what KD would like to be called if I’m to take him seriously from this whimsical commercial.

But the options that were for the emcee — Durantula, Velvet Hoop, Kid Delicious, K-Smoove, Durantichrist (that one has never really caught on for some reason), et cetera et cetera.

I can dig Kevin though. Pretty sick nickname.
