Washington coming in: After starting 0-3, the Wizards have won two straight with wins over the 76ers and Nets
Coming off the impressive win in Detroit, things have gone from moderately panicky to feeling really good in Oklahoma City. Which just leaves the door open for letdown. Something to set things back. The Wizards appear to be getting on track a bit after starting 0-3, and feel like they could make a significant statement by taking down the Thunder on the road.
And not to mention the fact the Thunder have a little history of falling on their faces against the Wizards, though most of those have happened in Washington. Still, this Wizards team isn’t bad by any stretch and with the Thunder still appearing to be vulnerable in a few ways, building off the last three games is necessary. Don’t just win. Play well while doing it.
Three Big Things
1. Wall vs. Westbrook. Oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh…
2. Bench. I’m just going to keep putting this here. They’re playing really well, but this is still a new, young group that has to prove themselves more and more. Jeremy Lamb has been solid, Reggie Jackson the same, and Steven Adams obviously excellent. But it’s still a game by game thing.
3. 3-point shooting. How about making some? Specifically Thabo, who is not making any.
Tip at 6:00 CT. Go Play Well.
