View from the enemy: A Wolf Among Wolves
Do you know how long its been since the Thunder lost four straight games? A long time. Not since their first season in Oklahoma City, in fact. Some 1,700 days and 366 games. (That’s of course not counting the NBA Finals. Sad faces.)
They’re currently riding a three-game skid for the first time since last season and host a struggling Timberwolves team at home. If the Thunder slide to four straight losses here, there won’t be panic. There will be pandemonium. Zombie apocalypse level panic. If the Thunder lose this one, Scott Brooks is basically going to become Rick Grimes wandering around looking for Laurie.
Note: Ronnie Brewer will not be active for tonight’s game.
Minnesota coming in: The Wolves won their last game, topping the Sixers on Wednesday.
Shootaround Sound
Three Big Things
1. Perk. He’s a game-time decision. And with Nikola Pekovic on the other side, those few minutes where Hasheem Thabeet guards him could be rough.
2. Serge Ibaka. How about a big game, big fella?
3. Just get right. The Thunder have lost three straight, but they did the same thing last year. Roughing up the Wolves at home to start a little streak will make things feel a whole lot better and make this look like just a bump in the road.
Tip at 7:00 CT. Go Win.
